Eyes Forward "For Lygia"

This project involves photographing the experience of time with Lygia, a 94-year-old grandmother, and creating a collaborative book called Eyes Forward "For Lygia" based on the images. Twelve people were invited to mark their response or reflection on the images they chose in the book. The project aims to explore the lived experience of making and seeing the work. An interactive element during exhibition encourages visitors to share their comments, and the work is expected to evolve differently with each sharing. Overall, the project confirms the presence of both the artist and collaborators in this unique co-creative space.

The Artist's book and three framed photographs are currently installed in the UNF Gallery of Art. The opening reception on April 27th was great fun.
